Handmade perfume in Bandung: the Cakir approach
From Istanbul to Bandung
Cakir Parfume began in Istanbul and is now made in Bandung, West Java. Founder Alphan Cakir mixes and bottles the perfumes by hand in small batches. This direct involvement creates a personal connection between the maker, the fragrance and the finished bottle.
The work behind a bottle
Measuring, blending and preparing bottles are practical parts of making perfume by hand. Short workshop films offer a glimpse of that work in Bandung. The collection explores several scent directions, from fresh citrus and aquatic notes to rose, wood and warmer vanilla profiles.
A direct local connection
For customers in Bandung, Jakarta and elsewhere in Indonesia, direct contact makes it easier to discuss a fragrance before ordering. Cakir can be reached through WhatsApp or email for product information and scent advice. Visits to the Bandung lab are arranged by appointment.
